Once very famous, the Paris Carnival had disappeared. Brought back to life nineteen years ago, it is growing in size every year and attracts more and more groups, both from Paris organizations as well as from outside the city, not to mention from other towns in France and from other countries. Led by a Limousine breed cow embodying the Fatted calf, the parade will be made up of 15 floats and 15 000 participants are expected. It will start at 2pm from Gambetta square and will end in Republique square around 6pm. The theme of this edition is “Tales by Perrault and from elsewhere”.
