PROVINS. NEAR PARIS.
During a weekend the medieval town of Provins plunges you back into the atmosphere of the 13th century trade fairs when merchants from all over Europe used to meet there. Troubadours, acrobats, jugglers, stilt walkers and jesters invade the streets and rustic camps are set up at the foot of the ramparts. There are also musical improvisations, a wool village, exhibitions related to the Middle Ages and workshops of craftsmen showing their traditional know-how such as stained glass window making.
