Following the historic coffee trading route between France and Brazil, the trans-Atlantic Jacques Vabre double-handed race takes place every two years. This 14th edition starts in Le Havre and finishes in Salvador de Bahia in Northern Brazil. The sixty participating yachts will be visible in the port from October 18th and they will move to the start line from 8am on October 27th. The official race start signal will be given at 1.35pm. Till the departure, a village gathering together sponsors, partners, associations and shops is open in the Paul Vatine bassin and houses various events such as exhibitions, activities for kids, concerts, regattas and so on. Highlights include a great fireworks on Saturday 26th.
