Chronologically arranged, this vast and not-to-be missed retrospective presents more than 200 paintings and drawings illustrating all facets of Toulouse-Lautrec’s talent. Visitors can discover the different periods of his career, the themes and figures that inspired him, especially nightlife in Montmartre including dancers such as La Goulue and Jeanne Avril as well as brothels. Works on display also feature posters he produced for artists, dancers, singers he liked or were his friends and for cabarets he used to go.
