Vineyards hikes

The annual event « Vignes, Vins et Randos » (Vineyards, Wines and Hikes) invites you to discover the vineyards of the Loire valley through sixteen hikes led by winegrowers and some of them offer commentaries in English. They share with you their know-how and their passion for their work and their land, and guide you through landscapes listed by Unesco as part of Mankind's world heritage. Short snack breaks are organized along the way as well as musical, artistic and educational activities. When the walk is over, you can have a picnic with the winegrowers and enjoy the region’s best wines.
Hikes are 4.5 km to 9 km long and take place Saturday afternoon in the appellations Saumur Champigny, Coteaux du Layon 1er cru Chaume Quart de Chaume Grand cru, Jasnières Coteaux du Loir, Coteaux d’Ancenis, Saumur, Saumur Nord Vienne, Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil, Touraine Mesland, and Chinon as well as Sunday morning in the appellations Vouvray, Coteaux du Vendômois, Saumur Puy Notre Dame , Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil, Chinon, Muscadet Sèvres et Maine and Anjou Village-Brissac - Coteaux de l’Aubance.
