Mostly known for his abstract works, Piet Mondrian also produced figurative paintings and drawings in the early stage of his career. This exhibition presents sixty-seven of them, half of which have never been shown in Paris before. It features landscapes, portraits and flower paintings marked by Impressionism, Luminism, the Fauves and Symbolism, all on loan from the Salomon Slijper Collection that owns the largest number of works by Mondrian in the world.
