SARTHE DEPARTMENT, NEAR LE MANS
Having as theme “Itinerance”, the 9th edition of the “Saison Photographique de l’abbaye de l’Epau” highlights the works of five photographers whose pictures are on display in the park surrounding this Cistercian abbey. Among them are Nyani Quarmyne who depicts the daily life of the inhabitants of Totope, a Ghanaian village invaded by sand, Fausto Podavini who illustrates the consequences of a dam construction on the life of the tribes living in the Omo valley in Ethiopia and Emmanuel Sauvaitre, a night wildlife photography expert.
